La notion du corps y est centrale. Ces dernières années, son travail a été vu dans plusieurs expositions de groupe et manifestations d’art-performance. Ses installations vidéo et sonores ont notamment été exposées au Centre d’art actuel Skol (2002), à la Manif d’art de Québec (2003), à l’Espace 1004 (2004) et à la galerie Graff (2005). Son investissement récent (2003) en art performance l’a conduit vers plusieurs congrès et festivals internationaux. En 2006, il participe activement au succès de Viva ! Art-action au sein duquel il agit comme co-comissaire d’une programmation internationale ainsi que comme coordonnateur du Bain St-Michel. Born in 1969, Patric Lacasse lives and works in Montreal. He completed his M.A. in visual and media arts at UQAM in 2004. His installations take us into a syntax of the identity dynamic - otherness with respect to place, visitor and artist. In recent years his work has been shown at a number of group exhibitions and performance art events (Galerie Plein-Sud, Galerie de l'UQAM, Périphériques, SoToDo Berlin). His video and sound installations have been exhibited at the Centre d'art actuel Skol (2002), the Manif d'art de Québec (2003), Espace 1004 (2004) and Galerie Graff (2005). In 2003, he became more interested in performance art and has since participated in a number of international conventions and festivals.
